Michelle Adams is co-owner of Ricardo’s. Her husband, and Ricardo’s chef,
Mark has owned the restaurant for 20 years. Michelle began her career in
Medical management but was quickly persuaded to join her husband. She is the
bartender, hostess, etc. While Mark is the creative force behind Ricardo’s,
Michelle is the business manager and manager of the dining room. You will often
see her bartending, hosting or waiting tables. Both Mark and Michelle feel it
is very important to be at the restaurant as much as possible.They have 2 children, Tim and Tom, and two beautiful Cairn Terrier puppies, Riley and Baxter. She grew up in South St. Louis and attended St. Elizabeth’s Academy high school and St. Louis University College. She sings and enjoys spending time with her kids and her puppies! Yes, Michelle thought Mark was crazy when he proposed that they buy the then Salvatores restaurant. It has become a wonderful dream come true and they both have worked very hard to ensure their business is a success. It has always been their goal to provide people with awesome food for a great price in a warm atmosphere. In January of 2006, Michelle completed the introductory sommelier program through the Court of Master Sommeliers. In June of 2006, she will sit for her next level of certification in Chicago, Il. |
